Mitra Karimi-Taleghani, MSW, ACSW, RYT, is a multi-ethnic queer therapist who uses play, movement, and other methods in her work with clients.
She talks about how to advocate for yourself when looking for or working with a therapist. She also discusses what she does to take care of herself while holding space for other people’s pain and healing.
